Museum Haus Konstruktiv | Richard Paul Lohse | curated by Sabine Schaschl and Evelyne Bucher | Video: schwarzpictures.com | 5.2.–10.5.2026

Museum Haus Konstruktiv in Zurich is starting its 2026 programme with a comprehensive exhibition on the work of Richard Paul Lohse (1902–1988) as a painter. Over 50 exhibits (paintings, sketches, constructional drawings and colour charts) from the years 1942 to 1987 are on display. The exhibition provides insight into Lohse’s development – from early, freely floating geometric shapes to orthogonally structured non-hierarchical visual systems that reflect his concept of a modern democratic society.

A Museum Haus Konstruktiv exhibition in cooperation with the Richard Paul Lohse Foundation, MASI Lugano, the Josef Albers Museum in Bottrop, and the Wilhelm Hack Museum in Ludwigshafen am Rhein
