PREORDER Concepts of the All-Over

Available at the Museum Shop from 20 March

With the exhibition Concepts of the All-Over, Museum Haus Konstruktiv is bidding farewell to its long-standing location at Selnaustrasse 25 in the heart of Zurich before moving to the nearby Löwenbräukunst site. After 24 years in the historic industrial building, which has been specially converted to house the museum, the institution is embarking on a new chapter in its history that is yet to be written.

The all-over, the ‘All over!’ associated with the end of the location is contrasted with the all-over concept from art history, which describes an ‘everywhere!’ or a design of image carriers that can potentially develop and continue in all directions. The term refers to paintings whose motifs or forms spread equally across the entire picture surface, as well as spatial concepts that include the corresponding design of walls, ceilings, floors, objects and even furniture.

The brilliant group show combines colours, forms, light and architecture. You can experience expansive works by Carlos Bunga, Carlos Cruz-Diez, Fritz Glarner, Ana Montiel, Reto Pulfer, Esther Stocker and Christine Streuli.
