During this two-hour workshop, students will explore the Rosa Barba and Katja Schenker exhibitions in a playful and experimental way.
They start by exploring both exhibitions together. While Katja Schenker uses body impressions, large-format drawings and performative processes through which traces emerge, overlap and transform, Rosa Barba extends the exhibition space using film, light and sound. Their works invite viewers to experience images spatially and physically.
Afterwards, the students get creative in the studio and design their own ‚wonder disc‘. As it rotates, different motifs merge to create surprising new images. The workshop focuses on movement, perception, and the creation and transformation of images.
