During the two-hour workshop, students will explore selected works from the exhibitions Artur Lescher. Entangled Fields – Zurich Art Prize 2025 and Concrete Art. Neoconcretismo. The focus will be on questions of form, materiality, movement and space. While Artur Lescher’s large-scale installations offer an immersive spatial experience, the neoconcrete works blur the boundary between artwork and audience by involving the viewer.
After exploring the two exhibitions together, students translate their impressions back in the studio. Inspired by the Neoconcrete pieces, they create their own movable sculptures. Under blacklight, these creature-like forms truly come to life and begin to glow.
